Code Scientists, LLC, has been working for BioTelemetry (owned by Philips) for almost a decade now. BioTelemetry is a world leader in the field of Mobile Cardiac Telemetry. Patients wear patches or leads on their chests. Sensors attached to the patches or leads collect ECG (electrocardiogram) data. The patients' ECG data is sent to data centers and clinical technicians and physicians review heart rhythms for anomalies.
We have created software solutions that clinical technicians and physicians use to analyze, categorize, and report heart arrythmias for patients all over the world. We’ve been involved in algorithm development, regulatory processes and approvals, and we even create firmware for some of their devices. Our team has worked with Research at Philips to create and test noise classification and reduction algorithms that improve the accuracy of arrhythmia classification, as well as converting those algorithms from Python to C++.
Developing and maintaining systems for BioTelemetry has helped us develop the following skills:
